I was only going to run for like 20 minutes, then when I hopped on the treadmill I started by walking for 5, then I ran for 5, then walked for 5, and did that for 30 minutes. I was planning on stopping at 20, but kept going :) THEN, after thinking I was going to stop at 30, I thought to just walk for 5 more, but after 4 minutes I just sprinted for 1 more minute and ended it there.
253 calories burnt. :)
I wasnt planning to burn much at all, because this was supposed to be my rest day, but I am so happy I did that :)
HERE IS A TIP EVERYONE :
- when you feel like quitting, and you place a number in your head that you are going to stop at (ex; “After I hit 20 minutes”), tell yourself you will walk for 5 more minutes after (plus you should slowly slow your heart-rate down after a workout anyways), and usually by then I’m feeling up to run again, so I aim to run for 5 more minutes after :) ! It honestly works wonders for me, and I end up repeating that cycle a bunch of times after!
